THE BARN
LIKE A CONSTELLATION IN THE NORTHER SKY
We started to hear from friends and family that Thunder Bay was looking for a different kind of outdoor wedding venue. So over a few late nights and early mornings the designs for our rustic timber frame barn were created. We listened to what the community wanted and made it a reality.
It’s called the barn because that’s what it looks like but it’s so much more. We modelled our building after a classic pole barn but used huge timbers to give it that rustic country vibe. The barn is 50’x70′ equalling 3500 sq/ft, allowing for 200 people to be seated. That’s people not animals, there have never been livestock in the venue.
We have the perfect tables and chairs to match your rustic country wedding vibe. There are both rectangular and circular tables allowing for multiple seating arrangements depending on your guest count.
The barn is constructed into 3 sections allowing for multiple seating arrangements and guest flow. In the middle section we have dimmable lights allowing us to get the party started on the 400 sq/ft dance floor. When your guests need a break from dancing they can visit our 1973 Airstream trailer that we converted into a bar. Our bartenders serve everything from wine and beer to our sought after craft cocktails.
When you rent our space it eliminates all the work that typically accompanies and outdoor wedding. The Thursday before your wedding is set aside for your rehearsal. After your rehearsal, you will have access to the venue for set up from 12 pm the day before, to 12 pm the day after. During this time our amazing staff will be setting up for your wedding. Making sure every detail is taken care of. At the end of the night when the DJ stops the music our staff will start the clean up so you and your family don’t have to. We set up and take down, so you just show up the next day to pick up what is left behind.
